Hello! The Tempe Music Festival was very fun. Got to meet John Mayer (he’s tall) and watch LIT. It was fun for sure. I also got to perform an acoustic set and hang out with much of the Fender family. In other news, I am finally and officially GINGERSLING.COM. I’ve been .net for a while, and yes, it’s the little things that make us happy sometimes, isn’t it? So, I am finally back and I have updated my BLOG. I hope that you take a moment to read about my trip to Africa and take a quick look at my pictures. Happy New Year! I can’t believe it’s already 2006. This year is gonna be great! Kick it off with me at Detroit Bar on January 19th when I play with The Like. It’s an Indie 103.1 Radio Show. Guaranteed to be a great time. Hunter from AFI will be joining my band this time on guitar. In other news, I am leaving for Africa on January 27th for 10 days. I’ll be volunteering with an organization that works with street kids in Nairobi, Kenya. Please keep me in your thoughts while I’m away! Hope to see you soon…

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of going to Louisiana to help out in the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. It was one of the most humbling and rewarding experiences of my life.
